Director of Sales – PA State Lottery, Retail Operations Division

Salary range:  $69,829 - $106,152

We are looking for candidates who possess a minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience including a minimum of 4 years of leadership experience.

· Five years of retail lottery sales and/or consumer packaged goods sales experience preferred.

  • Proven record of achieving sales goals.

· Experience developing a sales plan and metrics driven goals.

· Experience creating retail promotions/sales campaigns that drive awareness and excitement about the lottery.

· Demonstrated ability to take risks and make independent decisions.

· Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills including the ability to effectively coach leaders, build relationships and leverage resources within the function and across the organization to advance business strategy.

· Direct experience teaching, mentoring and coaching junior and mid-level sales staff.

· Ability to work with in house IT staff and vendors on the development and implementation of creating actionable data for the portal.

· Proven ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.

· Strong business acumen and ability to contribute to a sales and marketing strategy and operations.

· Demonstrated success driving difficult change in a highly complex organization to advance the sales and marketing strategy.

· Knowledge in change management, performance management, and strategic and operational planning.

· Strong analytic and problem solving skills.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization.

· Demonstrated ability to develop, administer and evaluate policies, practices and demonstrated knowledge of talent planning and diversity in a large organization.

· Demonstrated excellent project management skills and overseeing project managers using targeted analytics.

· Experience managing in a Union environment
